The Math Problem Generator creates customizable math problems directly on your interactive whiteboard. It’s perfect for practice, quick checks, or embedding problems into a lesson. You decide the number, type, and difficulty of the problems, and the tool generates them instantly.

How it works:

  1. Add the tool to your board

    • The tool will generate a set of math problems on screen.

    • You can resize, move, or lock it in place, and even pin it across multiple pages for use in a lesson.

  2. Open settings

    • Click the gear icon to choose your preferences:

      • Number of problems: Select between 1 and 20.

      • Type: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. You can choose one or multiple.

      • Range: Decide the number range for each operation (e.g., up to 10, up to 100).

      • Multiplication or division tables: Select specific tables or all tables.

  3. Extra options

    • Allow regrouping in addition and subtraction problems.

    • Use decimal numbers in addition and subtraction problems.

    • Allow division problems with remainders.

  4. Generate and display answers

    • After saving your settings, the problems will appear on the board.

    • Use the Generate button to create a new set.

    • Click Answers to reveal the solutions.

💡Tip: Use the Math Problem Generator for differentiated practice. You can quickly adjust the type and difficulty of problems to challenge advanced learners or provide extra support for students who need it. Try locking a set of problems in place and having students solve them directly on the board for interactive practice.
