You can create clear line charts to show changes over time or compare two data sets. Add your own data in a table or let the tool generate random data for you. This helps students practice reading and understanding trends in charts directly on the interactive whiteboard.

How it works:

  1. Open the tool. The editing screen will appear.

    • On the left: a table where you can add your data.

    • On the right: an empty line chart that updates as you add points.

  2. Enter your labels (for example, years) in the left column and values in the right column. The line chart updates right away.

  3. Add a title in the box above the table.

  4. When you are ready, click Save to show only the chart without the table.

  5. To make changes, click the pencil icon at the top right of the chart to return to the editing screen.

Customize:

  • Line chart type:

    • Single line chart shows up to 10 connected points.

    • Multiple line chart displays 2 colored lines (2 data sets) that can be compared.

  • Display values:

    • Reveal values on click lets you click each point to reveal its value.

    • Always show values keeps all values visible on the chart.

💡Tip: Use the multiple line chart option to compare two sets of data, such as class test scores across two terms. This makes trends easy to spot and discuss together.
