The Timed Flash Cards tool helps students practice quick recall of words, sentences, or math problems. You can create sets that automatically cycle through on your interactive whiteboard. This makes it perfect for sight words, times tables, or rapid recognition exercises.

How it works:

  1. Open the Timed Flash Cards tool.

  2. Click New Set to create a set of flashcards.

    • Add a title for your set.

    • Choose the type: words, sentences, or math problems.

    • Enter your content. For math, answers are calculated automatically.

  3. Click Save to store your set. You can access it anytime or share it through “My Lessons.”

  4. In the Settings panel, adjust how your flashcards are shown:

    • Time per card: set the number of seconds.

    • Show timer bar: let students see how much time is left.

    • Flashcard movement: automatic (cards cycle on their own) or manual (advance with a click).

    • Order: random or as entered.

  5. Start the set and let your students practice. You can pause at any time.

💡Tip: Use Timed Flash Cards as a warm-up or quick review at the start of class. For example, practice multiplication facts for 4 seconds each, or flash through new vocabulary words before a reading activity. The timer bar creates a fun challenge that motivates students to respond quickly.
