Picture Bingo is a fun and engaging way to play bingo with your students using themed images instead of numbers. With over 10 different themes, including seasons, holidays, sports, and healthy foods, you can easily match the game to your lesson or celebration.
How it works:
Open the Picture Bingo tool.
Go to Settings to customize your game:
Game mode: Choose to play with two teams on the interactive whiteboard, or with individual students using printed bingo cards.
Theme: Select from themes such as Spring, Summer, Winter, Birthday, Valentine’s Day, Sports, Healthy Foods, and more.
Number of bingo cards: Choose how many cards to print if playing individually. (Tip: Laminate them for reuse!)
Thematic background: Add a matching background to fit your theme.
Click Save to start the game.
Playing with two teams:
Two bingo cards are shown on the interactive whiteboard.
Use the Play button to reveal an image.
Students cross off the image if it appears on their team’s card by touching it on the board.
When a team wins, the Play button changes to Next to celebrate their bingo.
Playing with individual students:
Print the bingo cards for each student.
Use the Play button to reveal images one by one.
Students cross off their printed cards.
When a student has bingo, press the Bingo! button to celebrate.
💡Tip: Use Picture Bingo to introduce or review vocabulary in a playful way. For example, play with the “Healthy Foods” theme during a nutrition lesson, or use “Sports” when teaching action verbs. It’s an interactive way to combine learning with fun.
