GeoGebra is an interactive math app that makes algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics easier to teach and more fun to learn. On the interactive whiteboard, you and your students can draw, plot, and graph in real time. This helps make abstract math ideas more concrete and visual.

How it works:

  1. Open the GeoGebra tool from the library.

  2. Use the toolbar to select what you want to create, such as points, lines, shapes, or functions.

  3. Plot or draw directly on the coordinate grid.

  4. Move and adjust objects to explore how changes affect the math.

  5. Use the input bar to enter equations or values for more precise graphs and calculations.

Classroom uses

  • Interactive visualization: Show students how equations and shapes behave by dragging and changing points on the board.

  • Real-time feedback: Let students see instantly how their actions change the graph or shape.

  • Collaborative learning: Invite students to come to the board to test solutions or explore problems together.

💡Tip: Try using GeoGebra to demonstrate connections across topics. For example, draw a triangle in geometry, then calculate its slope in algebra, or explore its area with formulas. This way, students see how different areas of math connect.
