The Triangle Protractor helps students learn how to measure angles with accuracy and confidence. On the interactive whiteboard, you can enlarge, rotate, and move the tool to demonstrate different angles step by step. Students can also use it to check their own work.

How it works:

  1. Place the protractor on the board by clicking and dragging.

  2. Rotate it to align with the angle you want to measure.

  3. Read the angle where the second side meets the numbered scale.

  4. Draw against the edges of the protractor to create precise angles.

Classroom uses:

  • Demonstrate measuring: Show students how to measure angles live on the board.

  • Practice together: Give students objects or shapes to measure and check their answers against your demonstration.

  • Build familiarity: Let students experiment with holding the protractor in different orientations (up, down, or sideways) so they get used to reading it correctly.

💡Tip: Have students bring their own protractors to their desks and follow along while you measure angles on the board. This way, they connect what they see in the demonstration to their own hands-on practice.
