The Half Circle Protractor helps students learn to measure and understand angles. On the interactive whiteboard, you can enlarge, rotate, and move the tool to demonstrate angle measurements. Students can watch, follow along with their own protractors, and then practice on the board themselves.

How it works:

  1. Place the protractor on the board by clicking and dragging.

  2. Rotate it to align with the angle you want to measure.

  3. Position the baseline of the protractor along one side of the angle.

  4. Read the measurement where the other side of the angle meets the scale.

Classroom uses:

  • Demonstrate measuring angles: Show step by step how to use the protractor correctly.

  • Practice together: Have students identify angles in shapes or objects, then measure them on the board.

  • Build confidence: Let students practice holding the protractor in different ways (up, down, sideways) so they become familiar with reading it in any orientation.
