The Adjustable Analog Clock is a hands-on tool to help students practice telling time. You can set any time of day and adjust how the clock moves forward or back. This makes it perfect for showing how clock hands move and for practicing time concepts step by step.
How it works
Use the blue + and – buttons to move the clock forward or backward.
Drag the hands directly on the clock to set a time.
Adjust the starting time by opening the settings with the gear icon in the bottom-left corner.
In the settings, choose how many minutes the clock moves per click (1, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes).
You can also switch the clock to read-only mode so students can focus on reading the time without changing it.
Settings
Clock start time: Set the exact time where the clock begins.
Minutes per step: Decide how many minutes the hands move when you press the + or – buttons.
💡Tip: Invite students to the board to change the clock themselves. Try switching the step size in the settings. For example, use 5-minute or 15-minute steps to clearly show how the minute hand jumps in larger intervals while still moving in a repeating pattern.
